t'd been a while since I'd actually finished a diorama, so I decided a smaller-than-
usual scene would be advantageous. This scene in fact fit onto the lid from a jar of salsa. I used a few other kitchen supplies as well: oregano for the
tundra plants and baking soda for dusting of snow. The runestone is real limestone from the Mississippi River Gorge here in St Paul, written on with a Sharpie pen. The inscription pertains to a fantasy world I have in the back of my mind in which most of these dioramas are set.
