Slavic


Daughter languages arose out of the original Common Slavonic between the 500s and the 800s CE as the Slavs expanded throughout Eastern Europe. However the similarities that still exist among the languages are extremely visible below. Slavic languages are written in either the Cyrillic or Roman alphabet. Slavic languages not yet represented include Belarusian and Slovene.
